Aggression unifies with class

Arsenal on point again! From disabled kids playing football to footballers learning a few ballerina steps, Citroen uses football players for their campaign to bring more publicity to Arsenal and Citroen.  Citroen is one of Arsenal sponsors and it has started from the move away from Highbury to new home “the Emirates” but that is not important. What is important is the use of Arsenal players promoting Citroen in a couple of ads.
They call it Footballet, and I call it “Aggression unifies with class”Arsenal. The two organizations collaborated to form one campaign that publicized both Arsenal FC and Citroen. One would realize that it’s more of a Citroen campaign though, but the players were used in very strategic way. Arsenal FC is a big football organization and whoever represents it on TV or any mass communication medium promotes and attracts media attention resulting in free publicity.
Apart from the publicity and the campaign, personally I think the two organizations have a good business relationship and it’s a good example to show how important relationships are in the ever growing and changing business environment. This method of advertising has been used a lot of times e.g. KFC has used it in the cricket promotions, Milo has used too etc.
